Alex Lang Media is a full service creative agency and production company with a style all our own. Our videos just feel different - more personal, more creative, more authentic. From Upfront videos for TV networks, to fundraising videos for non-profits, our videos generate heat.
THE CHALLENGE: Actress, model and philanthropist, Patricia Velasquez, asked Alex Lang Media to produce something special for their annual gala in NYC. We wrote, produced, edited and designed this video to thank the Wayuu Taya Foundation's many donors.
THE RESULT: To Be Announced. The gala hasn't happened quite yet. In the meantime, watch the video below to see what we did.
THE CHALLENGE: Recruiting students for an all-girls high school is a balancing act: students and parents may have very different goals. This was our second time creating a recruitment video for Louisville High School. We researched, interviewed, and shot students to hear how great Louisville is in their own words. This was paired with student-shot photos and videos of the school and students.
THE RESULT: This video helped lead to increased enrollment by speaking to young girls in their language.
THE CHALLENGE: Literary non-profit publisher, Red Hen Press asked for a video that would serve as a company bio and fundraising video at the same time. We did a deep dive into Red Hen's mission and history, and then shot at their headquarters in Pasadena.
THE RESULT: Red Hen Press is using this video to open their readings, galas and other literary events. The QR code at the end makes giving easy for the audience.
THE CHALLENGE: Fox Sports 1 wanted to promote the most impressive young fighters featured on The Ultimate Fighter. We researched, interviewed, and shot the fighters in their home gyms in South LA and Las Vegas.
THE RESULT: These videos were broadcast on Fox and Fox Sports 1, and were featured on social media. After this campaign, The Ultimate Fighter became the highest-rated series on the network.
THE CHALLENGE: Director David Hartwell called us with an exciting project: a new political action committee made up of women in the Writers' Guild was launching and they wanted a video to inspire giving. The only problem: the only chance to get the writers together was at a function the next day. He needed a Producer, a DP, cameras, lights and a set. We accepted and immediately got to work.
THE RESULT: This video helped the PAC raise funds to support the campaigns of women running for congress.
THE CHALLENGE: As one of the numerous DAs to have brought charges against former president Donald Trump, Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh had a target on his back. He approached us to create campaign ads to run on social media.
THE RESULT: After this campaign, Frosh sailed to victory in his re-election bid.
THE CHALLENGE: Viral poet phenomenon Kristin Garth approached us with an intriguing challenge: she wanted a creative way to promote her new collection of poems and photos to her huge Twitter following. The solution was this "poem video' - like a music video, but for a poem. Using Kristin's voice, stop-motion, and live-action we created a moody, surreal video.
THE RESULT: This was blasted out on Twitter and led to gigantic (for poetry) first-day sales.
Drop us a line and tell us a little bit about your project. We will get back to you right away with some ideas of how we can make your story shine. From award-winning videos to social media content, we've got you covered.
