Our second short film is a comedy inspired by late friend and colleague, John Walsh. Three middle-aged friends smoke a magic drug that lets them talk to their dead friend, Andy, who has something to say to each of them.
Calling Andy premiered at the Silicon Beach Film Festival and is currently heating up the festival circuit.
This psychedelic teaser was released on social media, and helped sell Calling Andy to film festivals and film festival audiences.
Our first short film is the story of a young woman who tries to come out of the closet to her religious grandfather. This was shot in one day in Altadena with a minuscule budget.
A Gift to the Living was an official selection at 6 film festivals, including as Finalist at the Washington DC International Film Festival.
We made this pilot using hand-made sock puppets and furniture. We believe that in an increasingly artificial media world, hand-crafted filmmaking is a welcome respite.
This stop-motion short was an experiment aimed at putting smiles on faces.
